December Favorites

This month I decided to do both a written blog post and a video of my favorite products! If you prefer to watch the video, scroll down to the bottom of this page. Enjoy!

1. Gentle Facial Wash by GlyMed Plus

This is what caused me to add 'prioritize your skin' to my 2018 Resolutions. It made me realize that the drug store products I was using were not cutting it. I actually look forward to cleaning my face with it every morning and night. After use, my skin feels baby smooth!

2. Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud CreamWater Drench Hyaluronic Serum , & Water Drench Hyaluronic Cleanser by Thomas Peter Roth

These three Peter Thomas Roth products are lightweight, rehydrating, and not greasy what so ever. I have combination skin, and I find these products even out the texture perfectly! I have definitely seen a difference in the dry/flakey parts of my face AND the oily parts.

5. Dry Texture Spray by Moroccan Oil

I like to use this dry texture spay on freshly cleaned hair. I find my hair looks a bit flat after I've washed and blow dried my hair. I add a bit of this and my hair looks voluminous! It also doesn't hurt that it smells AMAZING!

6. Strobe Cream by MAC

I love a strong, but natural, highlight. This is perfect for that! Just apply this to the high points of my face, then later go in with a powder highlighter. I find the combination makes me look and feel like a glowing goddess!

7. Prep & Prime Lip by MAC

Matte MAC lipsticks used to make my lips so dry. I recently went to MAC and they recommended this. I no longer get crusty (ew) lips from wearing matte lipsticks, and I now find myself wearing lipstick than ever.

8. Hoola Matte Bronzer by Benefit

This bronzer has to be one of the most raved about makeup product over the last two years. There was definitely a reason for this. I wish I had jumped on this band wagon a long time ago. This is the perfect shade that I feel would work on many, if not all, skin tones. It also lasts all day!

9. Fake Awake Eyeliner by Tarte

Off-white eyeliner on your bottom waterline gives the illusions of wider eyes. This is the best product for that! It definitely makes my eyes look more awake and adds a bit of sultry look to my everyday smokey eye.

1. Lara Chelsea Booties from Target

I've always admired ankle boots on other girls, but I never thought they looked good on me. I bought so many ankle boots from Nordstom and none of them worked out. I just didn't think they were figure flattering. I was pleasantly surprised when I found these chealsea boots. Now I wear them non-stop. They are cute, reasonably prices and comfortable!

2. The Group Babaton Eton Peak Hat by Aritzia & Kent Beanie by Madewell

I have never been one to wear beanies. Just like with the ankle boots, I couldn't find a good beanie that fit my head well. Before going to Chicago this Christmas, I knew I needed to find one. I didn't want to freeze! I bought these two beanies, hoping that one would look good. Turns out, I love them both! They are both so stylish and kept me warm in the cold.

4. Wide Sleeve Sweater by TopShop at Nordstom

I loved this sweater so much that I got it in the two colors that they sell it in (blush pink and black). It is super comfy and the wide sleeves add a bit of flare to my more simple outfits.

5.  Lucy Williams Mini Fang Necklace by Missoma

This necklace is the perfect elegant and dainty layering piece for everyday. It is also super durable. This is the only necklace I own that doesn't tangle with other necklaces when I layer and it doesn't tangle when I store it.

Cauliflower Pizza Crust from Trader Joe's

If you're looking for a healthy alternative to 'regular' dough pizza, this cauliflower pizza crust from Trader Joe's is for you! I literally eat this at least 3 times a week. It is just so easy to make and tastes delicious!

I will be making a YouTube video that includes how I make this soon, so look out for that!
